The GSMA revealed today the anticipated return of M360 MENA, set to take place in Doha, Qatar from November 18-19, 2024. This announcement came during a signing ceremony between the GSMA and Ooredoo, held at MWC Barcelona 2024. M360 MENA 2024 aims to bring together industry leaders and policymakers for two days of discussion on key topics such as collaboration initiatives like the GSMA Open Gateway, equitable mobile infrastructure frameworks, and closing the usage gap in the MENA region.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Bin Mohammed Al Thani, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Group, highlighted the event’s significance, emphasizing the strategic alliance between Ooredoo and GSMA in driving digital transformation. Sheikh Ali Bin Jabor Bin Mohammad Al Thani, CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the transformative potential of digital technology. Mats Granryd, Director General of GSMA, expressed excitement about the collaboration with Ooredoo to foster digital inclusion and innovation in the region.
M360 MENA is part of the GSMA’s M360 series, which focuses on unifying regional mobile ecosystems to drive innovation and positive societal change.
