When you have free time but are unsure about what to do, Google Maps will provide you with well-organized search results for nearby activities. For example, in Tokyo, you can search for “things to do” and receive suggestions such as “anime,” “cherry blossoms,” or “art exhibitions.” You can tap on these recommendations to navigate to them immediately or save them for later. This feature, designed to help you discover activities and dining options, will be available globally on Android and iOS in the coming weeks.
